Is starting your very own blog as momentous as it feels to me right now, or is it just that I’ve been thinking of doing this for nearly 15 years?
Who knows?
I do know that life is less intense than it used to be. I know that I have a bit more margin to write and create than I was able to when my children were younger and Dustin’s needs more demanding. Each season has its joys and challenges and while I loved being the mother of toddlers and babies, I am also enjoying the freedom to breathe, sleep and write.
I will be posting a series of articles over the next few months that some of you may have read bits and pieces of on social media over the years. I’m hoping that by transferring some of the fragmented content I’ve posted on instagram’s less-than-ideal writing platform, to this blog, you will find it to be more concise and easier to read.
So follow along and we’ll see where this goes! I’m not promising scheduled posts or consistent material. I am a homeschooling mama and wife first, and author second.
